July 5th, 2010 on 7:16 am. Sold State Drive ( SSD ) vs Hard Disk Drive (HDD). SSD’s use less power, have no moving parts, and the search speed is pretty much zero, vs around 10ms for HDD’s. They need ot improve the speeds though. ..
