This is a very interesting drive because while it sacrifices a lot of the sequential read/write performance of the X25-M, it actually uses the same controller, so the random read/write performance is nearly identical. Since that’s what makes most of the difference in real world performance, this drive should be a GREAT performer for the dollar.
